Artist and perceptual engineer Willie Cole created PASquela, a large scale sculpture of an Oyster Catcher shore bird made out of recycled water bottles. 10,000 water bottles were collected by Atlantic City Public School Students. Construction of the sculpture took place over several months and is being documented by Just Right TV Productions of Mays Landing.
New Jersey is a better place for everyone, human or not, when we all work together to keep it a cleaner place.
The finished sculpture was unveiled at The New Jersey Clean Communities Council “Kid’s Day” event on May 25, 2016 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The sculpture project is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company. Visit www.njbeachbird.org for more information.
