When was the last time you heard someone say “ I have all the money in the world to spend on this”. We tend to run with a creative crowd that favors clever over bizarre, enrollment over shock and awe, long term results over sizzle with no steak.

Creativity, by our definition, is how much we can achieve with the resources available; keeping those very resources in check and balance with your investment; AKA, the work we do for you. We have found that it is an equal part of listening as well as speaking. It proves that we are paying attention and is what makes for an interesting or CREATIVE conversation.

Step 8: Just Right TV Knows What It Means to “Stay Ahead of the Curve”

Spin that propeller on your beanie.

We as a communications company are guilty of being technically adept and can even be considered GEEKY.

This characteristic used to be referred to as “staying ahead of the curve” or “being on the cutting edge”.

Today’s consumer accepts this as the new normal and has high expectations about where they think information should be. If you are offering a good or service and it’s message is not where the consumer expects to find it, the consumer will go elsewhere.

In days gone by, communication took place around that technological breakthrough known as “the community campfire.” We are social animals. We depend on communication for our sanity. Today’s social media and electronic marketing instinctively draw us toward the warm glow of several different screen sizes… but the art of crafting a message hasn’t really changed over the years, just the method of delivery.

Coinciding with the competition for our attention and our shrinking attention spans, we have also learned that shorter messages are better. Coinciding with our shrinking attention spans. Even Thomas Jefferson said “Don’t use two words when one will do…”

Successful people have always gotten their message across when it is a) where consumers expect it to be, b) when it is a message they can identify with and c)when it is crafted to the point.

We are not afraid to utilize all of media available, today or tomorrow, to that end.

Step 7: Just Right TV Knows Selling is the Vehicle to Mutual Success

Selling seems to equal communicating. We have found that selling isn’t manipulating, pressuring, or cajoling. Selling is explaining the logic and benefits of a decision or position. Selling is convincing other people to work with you. Selling is overcoming objections and roadblocks. Creating a unique selling proposition that differentiates and enrolls others into the comfort zone that is that same philosophy.

Selling is the foundation of business and personal success: knowing how to negotiate, to deal with “no,” to maintain confidence and self-esteem in the face of rejection, to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, to build long-term relationships…

When you truly believe in your idea, or your company, or yourself, then you don’t need to have a huge ego or a huge personality.

Our best sales people are the customers we have already served.

Step 6: Just Right TV Does Not Stop Just Because It’s “The End”

Achieving a goal–no matter how huge–isn’t the finish line for highly successful people. Achieving one huge goal just creates a launching pad for achieving another huge goal.

Maybe you want to create a $100 million business; once you do you can leverage your contacts and influence to create a charitable foundation for a cause you believe in. Then your business and humanitarian success can create a platform for speaking, writing, and thought leadership. Then…

The process of becoming remarkably successful in one field will give you the skills and network to be remarkably successful in many other fields. And/or teach the skillset for success in that area to others.

Remarkably successful people don’t try to win just one race. They expect and plan to win a number of subsequent races.

Step 5: Just Right TV Sees The End Before We Start…

We can all be visionaries. Average success is often based on setting average goals; AKA The Encouragement of Mediocrity.

Decide what you really want: to be the best, the fastest, the cheapest, the biggest, whatever. Aim for the ultimate. Decide where you want to end up. That is your goal.

Then we often can work backwards to lay out every step along the way.

Never start small where goals are concerned. Get it all out on the table. You’ll make better decisions–and find it much easier to work a lot harder–when your ultimate goal is ultimate success. Laser focus on that ultimate goal and the right communication vehicles to get there are the specialties we try to foresee for your project.

Conventional wisdom yields conventional results. Joining the crowd–no matter how trendy the crowd or “hot” the opportunity–is a recipe for mediocrity.

Remarkably successful people habitually do what other people won’t do, or, what customers cannot or choose not do for themselves. They go where others won’t go because there’s a lot less competition and a much greater chance for success.

We mentioned previously that “we do the work”…Well, then we work a lot more.

Forget the stories about those who leave the office at 5pm.

Every extremely successful entrepreneur we know works more hours than the average person–a lot more–and they have learned how to work smarter along the way.

If you don’t embrace a workload others would consider crazy then your goal doesn’t mean that much–or it’s not particularly difficult to achieve. However, there should never be any heroism placed on mistakenly just putting time into something verses actually working on a project. We like to be able to point to the screen and show where the work ended up.
